Eye dots are created using the hand poking technique, pigment is implanted into the skin by hand to create small symmetrical ornamental dots under the eyes (or in your choice of placement, please let me know if you require something different). Eye dots can be done in semi-permanent black or brown pigment or in permanent black ink Pain level: Minimal How long do they last: 1 - 3 years depending on pigment colour and intensity - could be longer Minimum age required: 18 How long do they stay dark for: Usually up to 5 days however this can be shorter or longer depending on the person and the intensity of the pigment How long does redness last: Redness usually goes down within an hour or so after the appointment but if for any reason this is not the case antihistamines may help Healing: Heart freckles often get a small scab over them, it's important not to pick or knock the scab off as it will pull the pigment out When can I wear makeup: Ideally you should avoid wearing makeup over the heart freckles while they are healing, this usually take 5-7 days Should I do anything to prep for the appointment: Please make sure your skin is moisturised, sun burnt or extremely dry skin will not be able to be tattooed. Ideally stop using retinol on the area a few days before the appointment and avoid using sun beds, fake tan on your face and chemical peels in the few days before the appointment.
