about

A Microblading touch up is required within 12 weeks of your first Microblading session with me, I will not top up other peoples work, if you'd like to have your brows done on top of old Microblading, please send photos in advance and book in for a first session Microblading with me. Microblading is a form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing done using a hand tool with tiny needles in the shape of a blade to deposit pigment into the second layer of the skin. Microblading gives a very natural approach to brow tattoo creating thin crisp hair strokes to add volume, structure, fluffiness or camouflage missing hairs. As you will see from the brows I create, the style I lean towards is a natural fluffy brow using hair strokes and minimal shading. Brows are created over two sessions ensuring the hair strokes heal nice and crisp in between sessions and building on density and structure to suit your goal. Microblading pain level: Minimal, numbing cream is used before and throughout How long do they last: 2-3 years as long as you've had your top up, things like sun exposure, oiliness of the skin, products used day to day on your skin can effect this Top up sessions are for clients who have had an initial session with me and a top up is required within 12 weeks of your first session Minimum age required: 18 How long do they stay dark for: Usually the first few days however this can be longer depending on the person and the intensity of the brows How long does redness last: Redness usually goes down within an hour or so after the appointment but if for any reason this is not the case antihistamines may help When can I wear makeup: Ideally you should avoid wearing makeup on the brow area while they are healing, this usually take 10-14 days Should I do anything to prep for the appointment: Please make sure your skin is moisturised, sun burnt or extremely dry skin (in the brow area) will not be able to be tattooed. Ideally stop using retinol a few days before the appointment and avoid using sun beds, fake tan on your face and chemical peels in the few days before the appointment.
