Semi-permanent freckles are created using the hand poke method where pigment is implanted into the skin using a tattoo needle by hand, mimicking a natural sun kissed look. Colours will be uniquely mixed to suit each client skin tone and their goal of how they would like the freckles to look when they are healed. If you are unsure, I will always go for the most natural look for your freckles in regards to placement and colour however I am happy to go as light or dark as you want and to place them where you prefer if you know exactly how you'd like them. ​ As you can see in the photos of fresh freckles, they do look dark in colour to begin with but this settles down during the healing process. ​ Faux freckles can go anywhere on the body, for example, face, collar bones, shoulders, ears etc. I also offer zodiac constellation freckles where the freckles will be placed in the shape of the zodiac constellation you choose. ​ Faux freckles pain level: Minimal How long do they last: 6 months - 3 years depending on the coverage(amount of freckles) and the intensity of the colour as well as other factors like, sun exposure, oiliness of the skin, products used day to day on your skin, how well they heal and how well your skin holds onto the pigment (this can be different for everyone) Coverage is the amount of freckles tattooed and pricing does not change depending on the intensity of colour Minimum age required: 18 How long do they stay dark for: Usually up to 5-7 days however this can be longer depending on the person and the intensity of the freckles How long does redness last: Redness usually goes down within an hour or so after the appointment but if for any reason this is not the case antihistamines may help When can I wear makeup: Ideally you should avoid wearing makeup while the freckles are healing, this usually take 5-7 days Should I do anything to prep for the appointment: Please make sure your skin is moisturised, sun burnt or extremely dry skin will not be able to be tattooed. Ideally stop using retinol a few days before the appointment and avoid using sun beds, fake tan on your face and chemical peels in the few days before the appointment.
