ear ornaments are created using the hand poking technique, pigment is implanted into the skin by hand to create small ornamental dot designs on the ear. ear ornaments can be done in semi-permanent black or brown pigment or in permanent black ink pain level: minimal how long do they last: 1 - 3 years depending on pigment colour and intensity - could be longer minimum age required: 18 how long do they stay dark for: usually up to 5 days however this can be shorter or longer depending on the person and the intensity of the pigment how long does redness last: redness usually goes down within an hour or so after the appointment but if for any reason this is not the case antihistamines may help should I do anything to prep for the appointment: please make sure your skin is moisturised, sun burnt or extremely dry skin will not be able to be tattooed.
